Quick answers to common questions
Yes, emissions-related components, such as catalytic converters, DPFs, OPFs, EGR systems, and AdBlue or SCR dosing systems, are covered where they meet the general terms of the plan and are not excluded for other reasons. In the case of DPFs, we may first authorise professional cleaning or regeneration, then reconditioning, and only authorise a replacement unit if these options are not suitable.
Our Warranty Plan is intended for vehicles normally used and repaired within the UK. Breakdown cover is UK-wide only. Repairs must usually be carried out at a VAT-registered UK garage that we approve. If a fault occurs while you are abroad, we may consider discretionary help on your return, but we do not guarantee cover for repairs completed outside the UK.
We can cover most cars, vans, and motorcycles, including petrol, diesel, hybrid, and fully electric vehicles, as long as they meet our age, mileage, and usage criteria at the time you purchase your plan. Motorhomes and campervans can also be covered under the same terms as vans, excluding any habitation equipment. Full eligibility rules are explained in our Warranty Terms.
