Can I still go ahead with repairs if you have not authorised them?

You are free to proceed with repairs at your own cost, but repairs started without our authorisation may not be eligible for reimbursement. In an emergency out-of-hours situation, you can authorise repairs at your own risk and submit invoices and evidence afterwards. Still, any contribution we make will be discretionary and limited to what we would have authorised under normal procedures.

Do I have any choice over which parts are used in an authorised repair?

No. Parts used in an authorised repair must be agreed between us and the garage. We will authorise the use of manufacturer-approved, OEM, or quality-reconditioned parts, in line with normal garage repair practices and the value of the vehicle. We do not agree to upgrades, performance parts, or more expensive repair methods where a suitable, cost-effective alternative is available.

Which types of vehicles do you cover?

We can cover most cars, vans, and motorcycles, including petrol, diesel, hybrid, and fully electric vehicles, as long as they meet our age, mileage, and usage criteria at the time you purchase your plan. Motorhomes and campervans can also be covered under the same terms as vans, excluding any habitation equipment. Full eligibility rules are explained in our Warranty Terms.
