No. The Warranty Plan is a discretionary product, not an insurance policy. Cover Me Warranty Ltd is an Appointed Representative of Match Me Car Finance Ltd for the purpose of offering you credit options to fund your warranty plan. We are not a regulated insurance provider, and the Financial Conduct Authority does not regulate the warranty plans themselves.
If you pay for your Warranty Plan through a finance company such as Payment Assist or Bumper, you’ll have two separate agreements: your Warranty Plan with us, and your finance agreement with them. The finance provider pays us for your plan and then collects the repayments from you under their own terms. If you miss payments, they may add charges or take action, but this does not automatically cancel your Warranty Plan or give you a right to a refund; your cover continues under our Warranty Terms unless we confirm otherwise in writing. If you’re struggling to make your repayments, you must contact your finance provider directly, as we can’t change or manage your finance agreement for you.
Yes. Every Warranty Plan includes 24/7 UK-wide breakdown cover through our partner, Emergency Assist. This includes home start, roadside assistance, flat tyre and puncture help, nationwide coverage, unlimited callouts and, where applicable, support with hire car, accommodation or onward travel. Breakdown cover applies to the vehicle rather than a named driver. Full breakdown terms are provided separately by Emergency Assist.
