Are there mileage or usage limits on the plan?

Yes. As a guideline, the vehicle should not exceed an average of 2,000 miles per month (24,000 miles per year). We will not automatically decline a repair simply because your mileage exceeds this threshold. Still, we may take it into account and decline or limit coverage if excessive use has clearly contributed to a component’s failure. Vehicles used for hire and reward are not eligible at all.

What if I miss or delay a service for a genuine reason?

We understand that life happens, but regular servicing is essential. If a service is slightly delayed for a genuine reason, we will look at each case individually. However, if there is clear evidence that missed or significantly overdue servicing has contributed to a component’s failure, we may decline or limit the repair request. Keeping on top of servicing is the best way to protect both your vehicle and your cover.

What counts as a “pre-existing fault” under the plan?

A pre-existing fault is any mechanical or electrical issue that existed before you bought the plan, during the waiting period, or that would reasonably have been apparent at that time (for example, an existing warning light or previously undiagnosed fault). Pre-existing faults are not covered, even if they are only repaired after the plan starts.
