Is damage from accidents, flooding or misuse covered?

No. The plan does not cover any damage caused by accidents, collisions, impacts, vandalism, fire, flooding, general water ingress, contamination, environmental events, overloading, competition use, off-road use, neglect, abuse or unauthorised modifications. Such incidents should be dealt with under your motor insurance.

What happens if I pay for my plan through Payment Assist or Bumper?

If you pay for your Warranty Plan through a finance company such as Payment Assist or Bumper, you’ll have two separate agreements: your Warranty Plan with us, and your finance agreement with them. The finance provider pays us for your plan and then collects the repayments from you under their own terms. If you miss payments, they may add charges or take action, but this does not automatically cancel your Warranty Plan or give you a right to a refund; your cover continues under our Warranty Terms unless we confirm otherwise in writing. If you’re struggling to make your repayments, you must contact your finance provider directly, as we can’t change or manage your finance agreement for you.

Do you pay the garage directly or reimburse me?

Where possible, we authorise and pay the repairer directly for the approved portion of the invoice upfront before works are carried out. If you have already paid for emergency work that is covered under the plan, we will reimbursing you, limited to the labour rate, parts prices and repair method we would have authorised in advance.
