Corrosion, rust and gradual deterioration of any component are not covered. These are treated as part of the normal ageing process of a vehicle. However, if a covered mechanical or electrical part fails in a manner that meets our definition of mechanical or electrical failure, we will consider it in accordance with the plan’s terms, even if the vehicle is older.
Our Warranty Plan covers the cost of parts and labour for authorised repairs to covered components, up to your plan’s repair limits. We pay a reasonable labour rate in line with typical VAT-registered independent garages, and there is no separate labour-rate cap beyond your chosen plan’s maximum repair limit.
Yes, in some cases. If your vehicle does not have an up-to-date service record when you purchase your plan, you must complete a full service within 30 days of the plan purchase date and then follow the manufacturer’s service schedule in the future, using VAT-registered garages and manufacturer-approved or OEM parts.
