Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions

1
What happens if my vehicle is overdue a service?

If your vehicle is overdue a service at the time you purchase your plan, you are required to bring it up to date by arranging a full service within 30 days and then following the manufacturer schedule. If your vehicle later becomes significantly overdue for a service and a fault appears that is likely linked to a lack of maintenance, we may decline or limit a repair request on that basis.

2
Do you cover imported, modified or converted vehicles?

We cannot cover vehicles with specialist conversions or adaptations, such as refrigerated vans, mobile workshops, emergency response vehicles, mobile retail units or imports that were not manufactured to UK specification. Heavily modified vehicles are also excluded, including those with performance enhancements, engine modifications, suspension upgrades, ECU remaps, or structural changes. Minor cosmetic accessories that do not affect the vehicle's operation will generally be acceptable.

3
How do I make a repair request if my vehicle develops a fault?

If your vehicle develops a fault, you should contact us before any work starts. You can initiate this process by using the 'Start a repair' form on our website or by contacting our repair team directly. We will ask for details of the fault and guide you through the next steps so that an appropriate diagnostic inspection can be carried out if necessary.
