Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions

1
Can I transfer my plan to a different vehicle if I change car, van or bike?

You can request to transfer your Warranty Plan to a replacement vehicle, as long as the new vehicle meets the same eligibility criteria (age, mileage, value and vehicle type). We will require full details of the new vehicle, along with supporting documentation. We reserve the right to decline a transfer if the replacement vehicle does not meet our criteria or undergoes internal risk checks.

2
What happens if my repair request is declined?

If a repair request is declined, it is usually because the fault falls outside the plan’s terms, limits, or exclusions (for example, due to an excluded component, lack of servicing, or pre-existing fault). We will explain the main reason where possible. You remain responsible for any diagnostic or repair costs where the fault is not covered under the plan.

3
What else do I need to do to keep my vehicle eligible for cover?

You must keep the vehicle taxed, MOT’d and roadworthy at all times, use it only for permitted purposes, avoid unauthorised modifications and ensure it is not used for excluded activities such as hire and reward or motorsport. You should also follow normal care and maintenance, deal with warning lights promptly and keep all receipts and records, as these may be requested when you make a repair request.
