Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to common questions
We understand that life happens, but regular servicing is essential. If a service is slightly delayed for a genuine reason, we will look at each case individually. However, if there is clear evidence that missed or significantly overdue servicing has contributed to a component’s failure, we may decline or limit the repair request. Keeping on top of servicing is the best way to protect both your vehicle and your cover.
If you sell your vehicle, it is written off, or you otherwise no longer need the cover, please contact us. Depending on the circumstances, we may be able to transfer the plan to a replacement vehicle or consider issuing a pro-rata refund in line with our cancellation terms. Any refund or transfer is always at our reasonable discretion and may involve fees or deductions.
Your Plan Purchase Date is the date you buy your Warranty Plan. You can choose a Plan Start Date up to several months in the future. A waiting period applies from the plan purchase date, during which you cannot make repair requests. Any fault that appears, is diagnosed, or would reasonably have been apparent during this waiting period will be treated as a pre-existing fault and will not be covered. Wear and tear and MOT failure cover also start only after their own waiting periods, which are detailed in the Warranty Terms.
