Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions

1
Is breakdown cover included automatically with every plan, or is it an optional extra?

UK-wide 24/7 breakdown cover is included in our Warranty Plan at no extra cost. It is provided through our partner, Emergency Assist. It includes no excess or call-out fees, home start, flat-tyre assistance, nationwide recovery and unlimited callouts, subject to Emergency Assist’s own terms and conditions. Breakdown cover is activated shortly after your warranty is activated.

2
What happens if my repair request is declined?

If a repair request is declined, it is usually because the fault falls outside the plan’s terms, limits, or exclusions (for example, due to an excluded component, lack of servicing, or pre-existing fault). We will explain the main reason where possible. You remain responsible for any diagnostic or repair costs where the fault is not covered under the plan.

3
What information and documents will you ask for when I make a repair request?

We will usually ask you to provide a clear description of the issue, any warning lights, a diagnostic report or estimate from a VAT-registered garage, proof of servicing and maintenance, a photograph of your dashboard showing mileage and warning lights, and a copy of your V5C logbook and driving licence. We may also request additional images, videos or inspection reports if needed to assess the request fairly.
