Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions

1
Are software updates, coding or reprogramming covered?

Software updates, coding and general reprogramming are not covered on their own. Where a software update or reprogramming is required explicitly as part of an authorised repair to a covered component, we may cover reasonable associated costs. Routine updates, feature activations or coding changes are not covered.

2
Are MOT failures covered?

Yes, MOT failures are covered where the failure is due to a component that is otherwise covered under the plan. MOT failures caused by tyres, brakes, exhaust, body corrosion, glass, bulbs, wiper blades, or other consumables and general maintenance items are not covered.

3
How long can I take out cover for and how do I pay?

You can choose from Warranty Plans of 1, 2, or 3 years of coverage, subject to your vehicle meeting the eligibility criteria. When you get a quote, you will see the prices for the available terms and any payment options at checkout. Your chosen term, price and payment method will be confirmed in your plan documentation.
