Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions

1
How do you handle complex faults with multiple warning lights or fault codes?

For multi-fault situations, we may approve repairs in stages. We might first authorise the most likely or primary repair, then ask the repairer to retest the vehicle. If retesting shows further covered components have failed, we may then consider these as part of the same repair event, always within your plan’s terms and repair limit. This approach helps avoid unnecessary replacement of parts.

2
Will you ever ask for a second opinion or independent inspection before approving a repair?

Yes. If a fault is complex, the diagnosis is unclear, or the costs are unusually high, we may ask for further diagnostics, photographs or an independent inspection by a repairer we nominate. This helps ensure that the correct part is being repaired or replaced and that the work is in line with normal motor-trade practice and our plan limits.

3
In simple terms, what does the warranty cover?

Your Warranty Plan covers all factory-fitted mechanical and electrical components on eligible vehicles, provided they were in good working order when the plan started and are not listed in the exclusions. This encompasses core systems such as the engine, gearbox, drivetrain, steering, suspension, braking, fuel, cooling, electrics, electronics, infotainment, driver assistance technology, and more.
